Brilliant!

I need to brag a little bit about my husband... I mentioned that I was having technical difficulties, it's true, ALL my pictures were deleted on my blog. But not just this blog, all my blogs. I have a personal journal blog, a craft blog with my mom and sister, and a few other blogs. To say the least, I was DEVASTATED! It wasn't Jeffreys intention to delete all the pictures, and for all you readers beware anything you delete on your google account may impact anything else tied to google products. (picassa, Google+, blogger, etc...)

So I was sleepless because I felt like my journal was ruined, all the years of posts and pictures, GONE. And Jeffrey was sleepless because he felt so bad. So finally around one in the morning he said he thought he could figure out a way to fix it and we went to bed. Max woke up at 6:00 in the morning for his feeding and Jeffrey fed him a bottle and then sat down at the computer. I woke up at 9:00 and found he had written a program to fix my picture problem! Isn't that amazing?! He is so dang smart! There are HUNDREDS of people that this has happened to and google has openly addressed online that they don't have a way to fix it yet, and in 3 hours my amazing husband wrote a program that scanned through all the pictures on my computer and magically placed them back where they needed to be in the blog posts! There isn't a program anywhere that we could find that could fix this problem, so now there is one, and thanks to Jeffrey hopefully more people will be able to have their blogs restored!

And what YOU CAN LEARN FROM THIS...
1. Back up your blog! it's under the settings tab when you are writing a post, choose EXPORT BLOG and put it in a file on your computer. This way if anything happens, you have all your data backed up.
2. If you have dreams of ordering a hard bound book of your blog, make it a new years goal to start the process now! Maybe order one book a month or something...

(the picture was taken when we were dating, this was my way of getting attention while he worked on his homework. CUTE!)

What a genius! He should sell his program to Google and make big bucks :). I'm going to back up my blog as soon as I get home. Thanks for the heads up!

Hope he plans on trying to sell this program and you guys can make millions and then be set for life. Lucky ducks. Glad it all worked out. I really need to get to ordering one of those books. I have years of blog to get onto paper.
